Abstract

The purpose of this article is to draw attention to some typical features of terminological dictionaries and their compilation. Described are the efforts to obtain computer software which would enable comprehensive support for all the stages of dictionary-making in the Terminological section of the Fran Ramovš Institute of Slovenian Language SRC SASA. Actual limitations of means and abilities of personnel had to be taken into account. Here the issues are presented as seen by one of the dictionary compilers.
