The author focuses in this paper on the Imperial musicians’ mobility in the late Renaissance giving some example based on her systematic research of the Habsburg accounting ledgers and other important non-musical sources regarding the government of Rudolf II (1576–1612) available today in the State Archives in Vienna.Downloads
