The reception of Slovenian nineteenth-century songs was based on a model which had not changed essentially by the end of this century. The way in which music was received and evaluated was interfered with by the nationally-oriented so-called reading-room ideology. The reception of music had a negative influence on the compositional and stylistic development of the song form.Downloads
