Das spatantike Kastrum auf dem Kuzelin bei Donja Glavnica

Abstract

The recent results of an excavation at the hillfort of Kuzelin are presented. The author initially presents Late Bronze Age and La Tene settlement. before continuing with a general description of the later phases of the site and vvhal it tells us about life at Kuzelin at the time, including evidence for post-Roman occupation in the late 5lh century. There is a summary of the finds recovered from each phase of the fort's occupation. vvith a particular emphasis on the third phase. The article concludes with the brief re-occupation of the fort during the Langobardic period in Pannonia Savia culminating in its destruction in the final third of the 6lh century AD.
