Udine romana - altomedievale e la grezza terracotta del castello di Udine
Abstract
Buora describes archaeological images of Udine. the result of both past and present research. Archaeological remains indicate evidence for Roman occupation commencing at the end of the lsl century BC and continuing through to the end of the 2nd century AD. There is also evidence from the early medieval period through to the modem day. M. Fasano has identified similarities betvveen coarse ware pottery excavated from the castle at Udine and thal recovered from the excavation at Invillino. There are also analogies with other material from the Veneto and Slovenia.
