Anthropological analysis of the early Middle Ages skeletons from the cemetery Nin-Ždrijac (Northern Dalmatia)
Abstract
The necropolis Nin-Zdrijac is one of the most important Old Croatian dig in Northern Dalmatia. The anthropological description of the Old Croats is based on the analysis of 251 skeletons from the 8th and the first half of the 9th century and 7 skeletons preserved from the 10th and 11th century. Morphological and typological picture as well as the Penrose distance analysis between the individual representatives of the Old Croatian population of Nin is presented.
