New military doctor from Aquincum
Abstract
The author discusses a Greek inscription dedicated to Asclepius, erected by the physician Antonius, probably the military doctor of the 2nd auxiliary legion (II Adiutrix). The altar was found at Aquincum, in secondary use in a recently discovered mithraeum.
