The article published the results of field survey and test ex-cavation at sites on the northern slopes of the Gorjanci Heights south of Šentjernej. An analysis is also presented of archival sources referring to the excavations of the large Late La Tène and Early Roman cemetery of Hribec at Mihovo. With the aid of old sketches and records, we have succeeded in reconstructing the plan of the cemetery and locating it spatially. The research has shown that the broader area of Mihovo was continually settled throughout the entire first millennium BC.
