Abstract

A fragment of a wall of an amphora roughly datable between the end of the 3rd and first half of the 1st century BC discovered at Kaštelir above Korte bears a fragmentary inscription (*Ts 5) in the Venetic alphabet consisting of three letters. The find represents the fourth pre-Roman inscription discovered in the eastern part of Caput Adriae and together with the inscription on the bowl sherd *Ts 3 from the 2nd/1st century BC the second from the same site.
