The Illyrian Necropolis near Dobova
Abstract
In November 1950 the Archaeological Section of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts examined the prehistorical necropo[1]lis near Dobova, and took it under its protection. The excavated graves are burnt, flat, either containing or lacking urns. As to the discovered objects the burying place is Illyrian; it belongs either to the transitional period between the Bronze and Iron Ages or to the earliest Iron Age respectively (9th—8th centuries B. C.).
