The Neolithic Settlement at Rifnik
Abstract
During the excavation work of the Illyrian settlement at Rifnik a neolithic cultural stratum was also found on a smaller surface in the lower layer of the former settlement. Preserved are: one hole for the pillar, fragments of ceramics, ladles, a stone ax, and two small stone knives. Our finding place belongs into the series of the neolithic finding places from Slovenia: Drulovka, the cave Ajdovska jama near Nemška vas, and Zbelovo near Loče.
