Abstract

The Library of Tartu University was established in 1802 and at present the collection numbers more than five milion volumes. It holds a number of items devoted to Slovenes and their language. There is one publication form teh 16th century, five from 18th, and a few dozen from the 19th. The paper gives a detailed bibliographocal description of these items, as well as information on when and how the items came to be in the collection as well as their current condition.
