Abstract

For France Novak, Ph.D., this is a celebration of two jubilees: his 70th birthday and the 4dh anniversary since he first came to work at the Fran Ramovš Institute of the Slovene language. The article draws attention to his numerous research and professional achievements, as well as to his lexicographic work and research in lexicology (especially in semantics), register and style, and in historic linguistics.
