The education manuals for piano-learning from the first half of the nineteenth century that are kept in the National and university library and Academy of music in Ljubljana are one of the sources for the identification of Viennese influence on the piano-learning of Ljubljana’s citizens. The newspapers reveal some other indicators for the implementation of the piano in their social life: the music market of instruments and piano compositions for amateurs and private learning opportunities.Downloads
