References to singing in the medieval charters of liturgical services in Carniola

So far 33 medieval charters of liturgical services, coming from Carniola and expressly mentioning singing, are known. The paper discusses the expressions by which the sung services are specified, and defines their exact meaning. On the basis of the descriptions an attempt is made to reconstruct their actual appearance.Downloads
