Abstract

A short survey of the beginnings of Slovenian electro-acoustic music serves as starting point for questioning the present involvement with the electronic media. The results of an opinion poll conducted among representative Slovene musicians of different musical genres engaged in electro-acoustic music are interpreted in the light of present motivations for electronic composition and its topicality.
