The clergyman and composer Georg Prenner can indubitably be regarded as one of the most outstanding figures originating from the Slovenian ethnic territory in the second half of the sixteenth century. The present paper summarizes the preliminary findings and provides new scholarly insights into Prenner’s biography, his social environment, his religious and cultural life, his priestly career and, finally, his remarkable personality.Downloads
