The article discusses two thirteenth-century antiphoners used in two different charterhouses – Žiče and Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez – in which some authors have claimed to find striking similarities. A comparison between the manuscripts shows similarities and differences between them on the level of their liturgical contents as well as in some characteristic melodic formulas and chant melodies from two selected Offices.Downloads
