The author attempts to reconstruct the repertoire of the Ljubljana cathedral choir, which is very important for understanding the developments in 19th century Slovenian church music. The gathered data show that Foerster’s era was characterised by a deep breach of tradition and painstaking application of Cecilian principles.Downloads
