Slovenian national anthem, history of music in SloveniaAbstract
Although Zdravljica was only adopted as the national anthem in 1990, its history is long and interesting. In comparison with other national anthems, its particularities result from its lyrical and musical contents and the relationship between them. The main purpose of this article is to examine the history of reception of the Slovenian national anthem separately as a political, musical and literary symbol of the nation.Downloads
