The gradual digitization of society is placing important changes on the map of contemporary New Music. On the basis of early theoretical premises regarding the digitization of New Music, the two festivals organized by New Music Forum were analysed. An analysis and comparison with the previous Slowind Festival shows that the new festival is clearly marked by digitization. It turns out that this is in a transitional stage reflected at the aesthetic level by many and diverse combinations of digital, “analogue”, conceptual, narrative and abstract.
