The "Emona" Glass Beakers

Abstract

Glass beakers of a characteristic form, for which there are no analogies in the italic glassvvare, are knovvn from Emona and certain other sites in Upper Pannonia and eastern Noricum. Their distribution suggests the existance of at least one vvorkshop in Emona. The dimensions of these beakers are examined as well.
