Finds from the controle excavation from the cave Potočka zijalka
Abstract
All of the bones, soil samples, and charcoal samples from Potočka zijalka were destroyed during the war. A joint program of the universities of Ljubljana and Vienna was undertaken to acquire new bones, check the stratigraphy, and perform absolute dating of the settlement strata. Three tools were found in the trench, which was located along the eastern wall fairly far from the original excavations. The author presents a fragment of a stone artifact and fragments of two bone points.
The second part of the article compares the collections of bone points from Potočka zijalka and Istállóskõ Cave in Hungary.
