In the article the author deals with reflections on the settlement of the Koper District (Koprski okraj) after the Second World War. In the first post-war years, Koper was mostly settled by professionals and political functionaries, and later by other people from various social strata. According to the author’s hypothesis, the communist authorities systematically encouraged settlement only during the first period, and later these processes took place more spontaneously.Downloads
