Povzetek

V članku je podan primerjalni pregled izvirov in razvoja antropologije kulturne dediščine v Evropi in sledi glavnim genealoškim smerem, ki izvirajo iz sorodnih disciplin in metod. S ciljem plodovite primerjave kratko genealogijo dopolnjuje niz premislekov in opazovanj o avtorjevih etnografskih raziskavah v različnih evropskih državah in pokrajinah. Avtor razpravlja o razlogih za vznik antropologije kulturne dediščine v Evropi, njen trenutni položaj in morebitne poti v prihodnje.
