Abstract

The author presents the use of a morphological tagger developed at the Institute of the Slovene language at SRC SASA, in textual research. The application enables fast and reliable detection and display of grammatical patterns which occur over the course of a text. Such patterns would be rather difficult to identify by tagging texts manually and thus it would hardly be possible to analyse large quantities of texts.
