About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Acta historiae artis Slovenica is a scholarly journal published by the France Stele Institute of Art History ZRC SAZU. It publishes papers on art history and art theory relating to Slovenia, Italy and Central Europe in a wider European context, as well as papers dealing with more general cultural topics related to visual art and architecture. The journal is edited by the Editorial Board in cooperation with an International Advisory Board.
The journal accepts papers in Slovene, English, German and Italian. Slovene papers are either translated or accompanied by summaries in one of the foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French) and abstracts in English and Slovene, while papers in other languages are followed by substantial summaries in Slovene and abstracts in English and Slovene.

Publication Frequency
Two volumes are published per year. Occasionally, one of the volumes is a thematic issue.
