Povzetek

Ponavljajoči se plazovi, ki se na območju gore Gumitir na Vzhodni Javi sprožajo zaradi dežja, ogrožajo prometno povezavo med mestoma Jember in Banyuwangi. Namen članka je razviti strategije za zmanjšanje tveganja nastanka plazov na podlagi analize vplivnih dejavnikov in napovedi plazovitih območij z modeli logistične regresije in naključnih gozdov. Podatkovni niz, sestavljen iz 96 lokacij plazov in 180 lokacij brez plazov, je bil naključno razdeljen v množico za učenje (70 %) in testiranje (30 %) modelov. Z modelom naključnih gozdov so bili doseženi boljši rezultati kot z modelom logistične regresije, pri čemer so bili kot najvplivnejši dejavniki opredeljeni naklon, nadmorska višina, akumulacija toka, indeks topografske vlažnosti, normaliziran diferencialni vegetacijski indeks in ekspozicija. Rezultati podpirajo ciljno usmerjeno in učinkovito zmanjševanje tveganja nastanka plazov.
