Založba ZRC, as a publishing unit of the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU), public and non-profit institution, is the main publishing house of the ZRC SAZU institutes.

    Acta Carsologica publishes orginial research papers and reviews, letters, essays and reports covering topics related to specific of karst areas. These comprise, but are not limited to karst geology, hydrology and geomorphology, speleology, hydrogeology, biospeleology and history of karst science. Acta Carsologica was established in 1955, now it is co-published by the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and ZRC SAZU Karst Research Institute.

    The Acta geographica Slovenica journal was founded in 1952. It is issued three times a year by the ZRC SAZU Anton Melik Geographical Institute. The publication covers all branches of geography and related sciences, and geographically focuses mainly on Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

    Acta historiae artis Slovenica is a scholarly journal of ZRC SAZU France Stele Institute of Art History, fiunded in 1996 and issued biannually. It publishes papers on art history and art theory relating to Slovenia, Italy and Central Europe in a wider European context, as well as papers dealing with more general cultural topics related to visual art and architecture.

  • De musica disserenda

    De musica disserenda is a journal of musical scholarship issued since 2005 by the Institute of Musicology, Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU). It publishes studies from both historical and systematical musicology as well as interdisciplinary articles concerning music. One of its focuses is also the history of music in Slovenia and other central European countries.

  • Two Homelands

    The journal Dve domovini • Two Homelands, from 1990 issued by ZRC SAZU Slovenian Migration Instuitute, is dedicated to publish original research papers about different aspects of migration, emigration and immigration, multiculturalism, and integration practices and policies in regional and global context. It is multidisciplinary peer-reviewed sholarly journal that publishes papers, policy discussions, thematic sections and book reviews in Slovenian or English.

    Filozofski vestnik is edited and issued by the ZRC SAZU Institute of Philosophy of the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and was founded in 1980. Filozofski vestnik is a philosophy journal with an interdisciplinary character. It provides a forum for discussion on a wide range of issues in contemporary political philosophy, history of philosophy, history of political thought, philosophy of law, social philosophy, epistemology, philosophy of science, cultural critique, ethics, and aesthetics. The journal is open to different philosophical orientations, styles and schools, and welcomes theoretical dialogue among them.
