Povzetek

Prispevek predstavlja osrednje paradigme, ki obravnavajo semantiko in pomen jezika. Zainteresirane za kulturološke raziskave želi seznaniti z različnimi vidiki oblikovanja pomena in hkrati zagotoviti uporaben teoretski in metodološki okvir. Dojemanje pomena in semantike je raziskano s filozofske in kognitivne perspektive. Avtor utemeljuje, da je pomen dogovorna entiteta, ki nastaja v družbenem in kulturnem okolju uporabnikov jezika.
