Abstract

This article looks into the past of the illustrious Triestine voluntary association Minerva. The author suggests that its 19th century path went from being monarchically loyal to rather nationalistic, but not in a linear and uncomplicated manner as it might seem on the first sight.

V članku avtorica raziskuje tržaško zgodovinsko društvo Minerva in pri tem ugotavlja, da se je v devetnajstem stoletju spreminjalo od monarhiji vdanega do nacionalističnega; na prvi pogled razviden proces pa ni bil niti linearen niti enostaven.
