Abstract

The Slovene emigrant cultural magazine Meddobje was founded by two superior writers and commentators on current affairs, Ruda Jurčec and Zorko Simčič, in the year 1954 in Buenos Aires. For near five decades was this periodic magazine an appointment of catholic intellects, which left their homeland in the year 1945. With the foundation of Meddobje they make an attempt to develop the christian tradition-culture and literature in opposite of the communistic indoctrination in their homeland.
