Abstract

***

The authors of this introductory text present a brief history of the Triglav National Park research project, aimed at examining the diversity and multidimensionality of heritage practices among existing park stakeholders and social actors. They place the present contributions of researchers within the context of the project’s structure and aims as well as the other studies published in the journal Traditiones.

In these articles, the project researchers succeed in highlighting the key issues and culturally significant processes that contribute to a deeper understanding of everyday life in Triglav National Park as a protected area.
