Focus and Scope
Traditiones is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific research articles, welcoming contributions that explore a wide range of topics in Slovenian and European ethnology, anthropology, folklore, and other related fields. In addition to research articles, the journal also features professional articles, notes, book reviews, and reports.

History of a Journal
The journal Traditiones is a peer-reviewed academic publication, founded in 1972 by Institute of Slovenian Ethnology, since 1999 is published also by the Institute of Ethnomusicology (Acta Instituti ethnographiae et Instituti ethnomusicologiae Slovenorum). The Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA) was the publisher of the journal until 2004, since then it has been a co-publisher.
