Heidegger on the Frontline: Metapolitics, Gathering, Education
Keywords:
metapolitics, gathering, education, Heidegger, nation, victim, spaceAbstract
The paper deals with Heidegger private notes on the nature and extent of his own political engagement, which were published in 2014 as the first part of his so¬called “black notebooks”. With the help of the notion of “metapolitics”, which in Heidegger’s otherwise vast opus appears only here, nature, ambivalence and Heidegger’s personal messianism of his spiritual¬political project are outlined. It is conditioned, on one hand by political action of the national¬socialist project, while on the other it negates the political as something essential of spiritual¬political leadership and at the same time insists on the gathering of spiritual forces that will lead the German nation to a metapolitical constitution of the future of human survival in the world.Downloads
