The Imbeciltiy of the Thought-Systems
Keywords:
meaning, real, philosophy, sophistics, psychoanalysis, Aristotel, LacanAbstract
The paper discusses the critique of the Aristotelian foundation of the logico-philosophical discourse on the nature of language developed by Lacan in his later teaching. The critique follows the idea that for philosophy, giving meaning to the real is the only possible way of thinking the real. By reading the Aristotelian rejection of sophistic discourse in Metaphysics, the author tries to provide a draft of the possible orientation of philosophical thinking on the basis of the exclusion of meaning. Certain ideas of such a philosophical orientation can also be detected in the later Lacan.Downloads
