»Rast« in »zataknjenost«: moralnost, posmrtno življenje in vpliv mrtvih na žive

Članek obravnava predstave o posmrtnem življenju in izkušnje z mrtvimi med pripadniki alternativnih duhovnosti v Bosni in Hercegovini. Temelji na etnografski raziskavi v Sarajevu in Banji Luki ter analizira, kako moralni okviri oblikujejo topografijo posmrtnega življenja. Po eni strani prevladujoče verovanje v duhovni napredek in rast v posmrtnem življenju vpliva na pozitivna srečanja s pokojnimi, ki so živeli v skladu z moralnimi načeli. Po drugi strani pa članek prikaže, kako duše, ki zaradi nemoralnega življenja ali »slabe smrti« veljajo za »zataknjene«, največkrat negativno vplivajo na žive. Recipročnost, osrednji koncept pri razumevanju odnosov med živimi in mrtvimi, je v primerjavi s prevladujočimi tradicionalnimi razumevanji preoblikovana. Med pripadniki alternativnih duhovnosti pomoč živih potrebujejo le tisti pokojni, ki so zaznani kot »zataknjeni«, medtem ko so mrtvi širše razumljeni kot skrbniki in podporniki živih.
