Focus and Scope
The employees of the Research station Nova Gorica, which employs members of various institutes of the ZRC SAZU, annually present the results of their scientific research work in the field of history, linguistics, art history, librarianship and ethnology of the western Slovenian ethnic area. Since 2010, in addition to the permanent sections Articles and the Work Report, annual issue of Izvestje has had a section entitled Reports on the Contents of Humanities and Social Sciences Magazines edited in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in which the contents of individual periodicals (scientific and professional) from eastern Italy are presented to the Slovenian readers. Annual publication Izvestje makes an important contribution for learning about and disseminating the novelties of research in the western Slovenian national area and for raising the general scientific culture in the field of humanities and social sciences.Indexing
