Povzetek

Floristične raziskave v osrednjem vzhodu Tunizije (Severna Afrika) so vodile do odkritja majhne populacije Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth. (Hydrophyllaceae), vrsta, ki naj bi bila domača v jugozahodni Severni Ameriki in naturalizirana v Evropi, Avstraliji in Novi Zelandiji. Naše odkritje predstavlja prvi zapis na nacionalni ravni in tretje za južno sredozemsko obalo (Severna Afrika). Podan je opis, fenologija skupaj z njeno ekologijo v Tuniziji. Poleg tega so tukaj predstavljene originalne fotografije in prva ocena statusa naturalizacije tega taksona na afriški celini.
