Focus and Scope

Hacquetia is a science journal bearing on Taxonomy, Floristics, Faunistic, Vegetation ecology, Biocoenology and Palynology, with a geographical focus on Southeastern Europe, although more general topics from all over the world are also accepted.

History of a Journal

The Institute of biology ZRC SAZU published the first issue of Hacquetia in 2002 as a booklet in honour of Lojze Marinček, a former acknowledged researcher of the institute. Since then, two issues per year are published.
