Empire: An attempt at the foundation of the multitude
Keywords:
politics, multitude, Empire, universal, subjectAbstract
The article exposes two conceptions of politics in postmodernism: following the decline of the classical figure of authority, political thought faces a radical crisis on the level of the possible foundation of political community, although on the other hand, through the promotion of biopolitics, it proclaims the proliferation of the political on the level of life itself. On the basis of the Empire of M. Hardt and A. Negri the author develops three forms of the political subject and argues for the possibility of political emancipation based on the notion of the singular universal.Downloads
