Dispositions
Abstract
Following arguments are defended in this text: (i) there are dispositions; (ii) dispositions must have bases; (iii) the basis of disposition is a non-relational property of the item possesing the disposition; (iv) the basis of a disposition is a categorial property; (v) dispositions are not reducible on the basis; we cannot make either type — type or token - token identifications of dispositions and bases; (vi) dispositions are supervenient on categorial properties (bases); (vii) dispositions are second-order (functional) properties.Downloads
