Kant: Status of the Third Critique

Abstract

The text analyses the specifity of the place where Kant himself placed the third Critique and calls attention to certain paradoxes which result from such position. In the first part The Critique of Judgement is discussed as the inner limit of theoretical philosophy on one hand and practical philosophy on the other hand. In the second part we have to deal with an analysis of the specific discourse introduced by Kant with his speech in the modus »als ob«. The third part puts forward some paradoxes of Kant's aesthetics.
