Abstract

Stikanje ljudske glasbe tako z umetno kakor popularno je konstanta njune zgodovine, iz katere jemlje pričujoča raziskava segment citatne uporabe slovenske ljudske glasbe v popularni glasbi po letu 1990. V središču je glasbena analiza, predvsem izsledki opazovanja načinov oblikovanja priredb, v katerih se stikata v glasbeno strukturnem, poetološkem in sociološkem pogledu različni glasbi.

Like art music, popular music has always had at least some connections with folk music. The paper looks at the ways in which Slovenian folk music has been used and transformed in popular songs after 1990. Analyzed are arrangements of popular songs that contain elements of folk music, and examined both types of music that are sociologically, poetologically, and structurally very different.
