Among composers of such folk song arrangements, France Marolt (1891–1951) is exceptionally significant. As a composer, choral conductor, and ethnographer, Marolt sought to craft authentically Slovenian music. Although he supported his arrangements with alleged ethnographic scholarship, evidence suggests that Marolt manipulated resources in order to present a particular sound identity. Eden od najpomembnejših skladateljev priredb je bil France Marolt (1891–1951), ki je kot skladatelj, zborovodja in etnolog skušal ustvarjati avtentično slovensko glasbo. Čeprav je svoje delo podprl z domnevnim etnološkim raziskovanjem, dokazi pričajo, da je Marolt prikrojil vire z namenom oblikovati posebno slovensko zvočno identiteto. Kljub temu predstavljajo Maroltove priredbe pomemben delež k slovenski glasbi in kulturni identiteti.</span></p> ER -
