Six of them are endemic to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast (most specific is Aurinio-Artemisietum campestris) and one – Cakilo euxinae-Salsoletum ruthenicae – have a distribution on the Bulgarian and Turkish coasts. The coastal vegetation of the Dobrudzha coast is considerably different to that which lies south of the “Golden Sands” resort. The accepted phytogeographical border between the Northern and Southern Black Sea coast – Cape Emine – is very arguable. The human impact on the psammophytic vegetation is strongly increasing and threatening its preservation.</p> ER -
