Povzetek

Star rimski izraz »Illiricum«, ki ga je Katoliška cerkev v 17. stoletju uporabljala za province Dalmacija, Hrvaška, Bosna in Slavonija, so ideologi hrvaškega narodnopreporodnega gibanja »ponovno izumili« v tridesetih letih 19. stoletja kot nadnacionalni konstrukt. Izraz so v glasbi na Hrvaškem v 19. stoletju uporabljali tudi številni skladatelji, izvajalci, muzikologi, občinstvo in mediji.
